Greetings from Saltillo, Mexico! I hope this letter finds
you all doing very well and enjoying your last few weeks of summer.
Things here in Mexico have been going really great
in the past 2 months. God has really been blessing the various
children’s ministries and I’m excited to share with you all the recent
news!
My Wednesday night class at church continues to
grow and we have new children every week. We have been blessed to see
several of these new kids come to know Christ as their Savior. Two weeks
ago, some girls responded to the invitation in class and afterwards I
was able to lead the 2 oldest girls to Christ! They seemed to understand
things very well and both girls left smiling and happy!
Our street Bible club has also been going very
well. We have seen many kids accept Christ and now we are excited to see
them growing and maturing spiritually. We have really been working with
them to memorize Bible verses and to learn basic Christian values. It is
exciting to see them grow! We have a great time each week and I feel
really blessed to be involved with such a wonderful group of children.
We also continue to reach new kids with this ministry and have visitors
every week. This past week, we had a group of teenage boys who came
walking by and decided to stay. At first they were going to start some
trouble, but before long they were sitting down and playing the Bible
verse review game with as much zest as the youngest kids.
I was able to share the Gospel with them after club was over and
I’m thrilled to report that several of them got saved! Although most of
them prayed, I feel very sure about the sincerity of at least 4 of them
who had listened very respectfully and carefully to what I was sharing
from the Word.
This year, my pastor asked me to hold a VBS in the
neighborhood where we have Bible club. We had great attendance all 3
days and I really enjoyed the times with the kids. Several older
siblings also attended, as well as one mother. At the end of the 3 days,
we were excited to have seen 11 children come to know Christ, as well as
4 who were dealt with for assurance. I hope you enjoy the pictures of
our VBS that I’ve included below!
As the ministry continues to grow and expand, I
have realized the importance of having workers to assist in the
different aspects of the work. Without
help, I wouldn’t be able to run the children’s home and do all these
other ministries. Realizing the
importance of ALL these ministries and seeing how God is using each one
to reach children, I have begun to pray in earnest for a couple to help
me in the work here in Saltillo. As work on the children’s home legal
permits progress and things are coming to fruition, I ask you that you
make this a matter of serious prayer. Please pray God would supply the
exact couple to work in the ministry as we reach these precious children
with the Gospel of Christ.
As always, I remain extremely thankful for your
continued support and prayers. May God bless you all richly!
In Christ,

What Can I Do?
God's command is to teach all nations. There are many ways YOU can help fulfill this command. Many people, like myself, have been called to a foreign field.
Would you also go? Would you help? Visit the What Can I Do? page.
Adopt-A-Kid
The Adopt-A-Kid program is doing great, but at this time we still have about 10 children who have not yet been adopted in prayer. If you are interested in adopting a child in prayer or learning more about this program, please click here.
