A home isn't truly a home until Jesus is there, and a true family begins with
Christ as it's head.
There are approximately 3-4 million street children in
Mexico... over 1 million in Mexico City alone! Due to the hunger,
sickness, drugs, and gang activity that most of these children face, the
average Mexican street child does not make it past the age of 15.
The biggest need these children have is not for food,
clothes or housing. Their biggest need is simply for love and hope.
Their biggest need is for the Lord Jesus Christ.
House of the Hope (Casa de la Esperanza) is a new children's home in
Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. We hope to do our part be reaching out to
the abandoned and abused children of Mexico and sharing with them the
love and salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ. Below are pictures of the
house that will become "Casa de la Esperanza". The house will currently
hold 11 children, but in the future we will expand and house more
children. We are currently awaiting an approval of paperwork with the
Mexican government but hope to open by the early part of 2010.
Please keep this ministry in your prayers and spread
the word to your friends.... the more people that know about the plight
of the street children in Mexico, the better our chances are to do
something about it!
"When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me
up." -Psalm 27:10
"Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of
such is the kingdom of God." -Mark 10:14
The lost children of Mexico need so much.... but first
they need God!
